#intuColours - Spring has landed at intu Metrocentre

This week at intu Metrocentre was awash with colour as they officially launched Spring on the catwalk. The lovely Anna Foster hosted the stage - wearing the fantastic hibiscus maxi skirt from Topshop - a bargain at only £20! Buy it here.

All this weekend you can catch the fashion shows; however on Wednesday evening us bloggers got a special preview of what was to come. Spring collections from French Connection, River Island, Warehouse - all of the big name high street stores. I would have like to have seen Zara too, but I guess there are only so many outfit changes the models can take. Here's just a few of the outfits that were on the catwalk...

Make up was done by the amazing ND Make-up Artists; Nick and Marie were waiting in the wings for touch-ups and emergency hair fixing. The models looked amazing, with the make up popping with colour to compliment the outfits. I also have to comment on the goody bags that us V.I.B's got; they were full of treats all thanks to House of Fraser.

The highlight of the treats was the gorgeous A4 notebook from note. Only available via social media and quite a small business, they specialise in bespoke minimal design which is ethically crafted. Follow them here for more info.

I'm resisting the urge to go out and panic buy for Spring; lets be honest - it's still cold. That's not to say I'm not planning my Spring/Summer wardrobe carefully and considerately though...
